NeverWars

The Great War rages in Europe, consuming a generation of children. NeverWars follows new recruit Georgie Bird (son of Alice Hargreaves from Alice in Wonderland), American nurse Dorothy Gale (who once made a trip to Oz) and a German youth named Petr (who has forgotten Neverland) as they all confront the worst humanity has to offer in the trenches of the Western Front.

Each will find themselves drawn back to the NeverWorld, a place where all the classic childhood lands and characters connect, only to find it too is consumed by war.  The Jabberwock has created a terrible weapon that can turn anyone into a villain - even the most pure of heart - and must try to save their childhood fantasy lands before evil overtakes everything.

NeverWars is a gripping comic series that reimagines the classic characters of Neverland, Wonderland, and Oz in a dark and tumultuous setting. Set against the backdrop of World War I, the story follows three main characters—Georgie Bird, Dorothy, and Petr (Peter Pan)—as they navigate a fantastical realm embroiled in an endless war. Georgie, a young soldier escaping the horrors of the trenches, stumbles into a world where he encounters twisted versions of beloved characters. Dorothy, initially a symbol of innocence and kindness, faces internal and external battles as she is manipulated by the malevolent Jabberwock into becoming a Wicked Witch. Meanwhile, Petr, struggling with his transition into adulthood, must take on the burdens of leadership and responsibility, forging an uneasy alliance with his old foe, Captain Hook.

The central conflict of "NeverWars" revolves around the battle against the Jabberwock, a powerful and corrupting force that thrives on chaos and discord. The Jabberwock's influence extends across the realms, manipulating characters and turning allies into enemies. Georgie, Dorothy, and Petr must overcome their personal demons and past traumas to unite against this common foe. The Jabberwock's machinations force each character to confront the darker aspects of their nature and the cost of their choices, highlighting themes of corruption, redemption, and the cyclical nature of conflict.

Throughout their journey, the characters face numerous trials and tribulations that test their resolve and reshape their understanding of heroism. "NeverWars" masterfully blends historical fiction with fantasy, creating a poignant anti-war narrative that questions the true meaning of bravery and sacrifice. As Georgie, Dorothy, and Petr navigate the intertwined magical worlds, they learn profound lessons about the enduring impact of conflict on individuals and their relationships, ultimately striving to restore peace and harmony to their fractured realm.
